Hummel Trueman Hospital for Companion Animals (Specialty Care)

In human medicine, your primary care physician may refer you to a specialist, such as a cardiologist or an oncologist. In veterinary medicine, your family veterinarian can provide the same type of referral based on your cat or dog's health care needs. The Hummel-Trueman Hospital for Companion Animals within Ohio State's Veterinary Medical Center is a tertiary referral center providing advanced care for your dog or cat across 16 specialty services and on-site ancillary support services including diagnostic imaging and radiology, anesthesiology, clinical diagnostic labs and a full-service veterinary pharmacy.
Our companion animal specialty hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
